Lydia M. Fish is the director of the Vietnam Veterans Oral History and Folklore Project of the Department of Anthropology at Buffalo State College in New York. The purpose of the project is to "collect, preserve, and make more widely known the folksongs of the Vietnam War." In 1991, the project published a CD entitled "In Country: Folk Songs of Americans in the vietnam War," and consisting of 27 "songs made by the men who served in th evietnam War."
